With a background in Hospitality Management and a decade spent lecturing Business Communication Studies at the Central Institute of Technology in Heretaunga Thomas Manning began working in Latin America in 1987 when he was contracted to market CIT's English Language Institute in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Peru. Thomas has successfully managed a wide variety of research and marketing projects, business start-ups and proprietorial businesses in Latin America since 1987 in diverse sectors. |

Thomas is passionate about the enormous economic benefits for New Zealand in closer ties with Latin American and he has worked to strengthen those ties for more than two decades as a member and director of the Latin America New Zealand Business Council (Vice President 2010 - 2013) and as a member of NZ Trade Missions to Mexico with Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Rt. Hon. Sir Don McKinnon and Argentina with Hon. Philip Burdon, Minister of Trade.

Ian began developing property in Wellington in partnership with Thomas Manning & Caitlin Taylor by concentrating on rejuvenating the pre-1960 buildings that the city had discarded and disowned long ago. It was this early passion for rebuilding and recreating a city's culture and heritage that has grown into the underlying philosophy and drive of The Wellington Company which has made it into one of the largest property development and investor companies in New Zealand.
Ian has travelled in Brazil and Argentina and he's enthusiastic about Wellington's potential in Latin America to be both a tourism destination and as an Export Education provider. Ian is a leading supporter for the proposal to extend Wellington International Airport's runway which he sees as fundamental in growing Wellington's trade with the Pacific region to its fullest extent.

Dr Gustavo Richardson
Gustavo is a Buenos Aires-based lawyer and principal of Richardson & Associates, President of the New Zealand Chapter of the Argentine Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce & is the NZTE Beacheads Advisor for Argentina. Richardson & Associates has a mutual collaboration agreement with New Zealand law firm Anderson Lloyd Lawyers. Specialising in credit risk and debt collection, Gustavo is active in commercial and financial law and provides legal advice to the retail, banking and financial sectors. |
Born in Argentina to a New Zealand father, Gustavo holds both New Zealand and Argentine citizenship, and has extensive family ties in the South Island of New Zealand.
In recent years, Gustavo has assisted as legal and strategic advisor to several New Zealand firms that have established operations in Argentina, and Uruguay.
Gustavo graduated from the Argentine Navy School, and was a Marine Corp Officer for 15 years before graduating as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires. Gustavo has completed an MBA as well as executive training in negotiations, intellectual property and legal mediation.

Daniel graduated as a Bachelor of Computer Science from UADE the leading Latin American Business University and at the University of Guerrero, Mexico (MBA) and he was a director of Manning Group Limited in Acapulco, Mexico 1992 - 1997. |
